Corvus exists because the energy-efficiency niche had two archetypes: dense engineering firms with great credentials and dated UX, and boutique design-adjacent shops with the right aesthetic but thin accreditation. Neither combined engineering rigour with a modern, transparent client experience. That's the gap we fill.

§ Philosophy
Stars where they count. Honesty where it doesn't.
Not every building needs to chase 8 stars. Not every commercial fitout needs a JV3. Good consulting is knowing the difference — and telling you before you've paid for the wrong service.
Compliance over ego.
Our job isn't to impose an opinion on your design — it's to get your numbers right and flag where the compliance path is tightest. The architect leads; we advise.
Fixed fees, fixed timelines.
Hourly billing breeds bad behaviour on both sides. We quote a fixed fee with a fixed turnaround. If our modelling takes longer than we priced, that's our problem.
Stars that cost nothing.
Most 7-star ratings are won before you touch insulation or glazing — in orientation, zoning, shading, and glass ratios. We look for those wins first.
Plain-English reports.
Every certificate ships with a one-page summary your client can actually read. No acronym soup, no condescension — just what lifts the rating, what matters at DA.

We model buildings against their actual AccuRate climate zone — not a generic east-coast default. That means ratings that reflect a build in a tropical, temperate, arid or alpine zone on its own terms.
